RECORDING OUR FIRST ALBUM!

​The KDF Big Band went into the studio in March of 2025 to record 4 tracks for Kira's debut album. The album is being co-produced by André Bruni, Cuco Daglio and Kira Daglio Fine. It is set to be released in 2026.

International album release tour dates to be announced.

THE KDF BIG BAND

---

The Kira Daglio Fine (KDF) Big Band is a 16-piece ensemble based in Boston, MA. Originally established under the name The Young Lions Jazz Orchestra, Kira formed the initiative in 2018 in the interest of performing in venues across New York City. After being forced to disband in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, Kira has now re-established this second edition band based in Boston, where she is also working towards her Masters degree at New England Conservatory. The group places an emphasis on original compositions and arrangements, giving it a unique voice in the musical soundscape of the Northeast.

The KDF Big Band is comprised of a rotating roster of some of the best musicians in the New York and Boston areas. Keep an eye on our calendar for upcoming performances in 2025.
